HOLDEN’S WOODLAND ANIMALS NURSERY
Holden’s room is by far my favorite place in the house. Good thing, too, because Lord knows I spend countless hours rocking my sweet, sleepless boy here! When I chose Holden’s nursery theme, I wanted it to be something peaceful; a place where stress and worry could melt away and I could just focus on the sweet, soft moments shared here with my boy.

The reality is that it is possible to grieve and celebrate simultaneously. It is possible to be overwhelmed with gratefulness for what you have and yearn for what you don’t. It is okay to cry tears of sorrow and tears of joy in the same day.
Dock-a-tot: Beyond co-sleeping
Heading into baby number two, our motto was “no expectations.” We would roll with the punches, we would take each day one at a time, and we would make decisions as we went based on our baby’s needs. I wanted to be prepared for anything, and that’s how the DockATot found its way into our home.
When the going gets tough, keep going!
The truth about traveling with a baby is that it’s hard. It’s different. And it takes work. But it is doable, and if you, like me, want your role as a parent to mean living life even more fully alongside your child and creating a full life for him or her, I encourage you to do the work.
